NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Officers responded to the 7700 block of Jarvis Place in reference to a shooting around 9:10 p.m. on Sunday.
The first officer on scene found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there is no suspect information at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
